Peter Murrieta leaves Selena Gomez and Wizards of Waverly Place
Deadline is reporting that Wizards of Wvaerly Place showrunner Peter Murrieta will be leaving the show if it gets a Season 4. Peter was brought in to rewrite the pilot and then stayed on as the executive producer/showrunner for the first three seasons. This lead to the show which stars Selena Gomez to picked up the first best series Emmy Award for the Disney Channel in childrens’s programming.
It seems that since there is no decision yet on Season 4 of the show that they are open to discussion with him on other Disney Channel projects. If he can take over and turn another show into the awesomeness that is Wizards of Waverly Place and make another Selena Gomez type character I say go for it.

there better be a season 4 its the best show!!! Its the only show worth watching in disney cause the sonny with a chance & the new show something charlie suck we don’t like them!!
