Justin Bieber – White House Easter Egg Roll

The continual trending Twitter topic known as Justin Bieber took to the tweets to announce that today he would be attending and performing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. Bieber joins a list of those invited by the first lady Michelle Obama that also includes the cast of Fox’s hit show Glee, Reese Witherspoon J.K. Rowling, Elmo, Olympian Apolo Ohno, and members of the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens.

This year the event will be running under the theme Ready, Set, Go, and promoting healthy living. I’m guessing that all of the guest qualify. You can read the press release by the White House:

The President and First Lady have announced that this year’s White House Easter Egg Roll will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 with the theme of “Ready, Set, Go!” promoting health and wellness. The event will feature live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling. All of the activities will encourage children to lead healthy and active lives and follow the First Lady’s ‘Let’s Move!’ initiative, a national campaign to combat childhood obesity.
