G.I. Joe – Flint parachute figure for Con attendees!

Just got this word pass along to us by our friends from the G.I. Joe club! A second Flint character to go along with the one you’d get if you buy the Red Shadows Convention Set. I love this idea because not only is it an extra goodie for the con supporters, but it also puts Joes in front of kids in a very fun and interactive way, and BSCkids supports that to the fullest.

G.I. Joecon announces FREE exclusive parachute figure for registered attendees!

Fort Worth, TX – April 22, 2010 – Fun Publications, Inc., licensee for Hasbro’s official G.I. Joe Collectors’ Convention, G.I.Joecon, has announced today that all registered attendees will have the opportunity to receive a “free” Flint parachute figure. On April 29th Hasbro is sponsoring a private parachute drop for school kids to help promote the convention locally. Since Hasbro knew that the venue was not accessible to attendees, they wanted to make sure that fans registered for the convention were a part of this great event by giving them one of the limited edition Flint figures that will be used at the drop.

These will be handed out to everyone with a convention badge who attends either of the two presentations given by Alan Hassenfeld (former Chairman of the Board and present Chairman of the Executive Committee of Hasbro) on Friday morning in the Narragansett Ballroom at the Westin.
