how to train your dragon

Vikings and Dragons is good enough for me, but Dreamworks has decided to give you another behind-the-scenes look at How To Train Your Dragon, debuting at YahooMovies. A bunch of the voice talent, including Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler and America Ferrera are on this clip talking about the animated feature. We also get some more scenes that we haven’t seen from the film in our various other looks that BSCkids has brought you.

We’ve already posted the first trailer from December and the new one from February already and have added several image galleries to get you ready for this week’s big opening weekend! Along with the three above actors, How to Train Your Dragon also features the voices of Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Craig Ferguson, Kristen Wiig and T.J. Miller. If you like how this movies looks, maybe you should consider the novel by Cressida Cowell that it’s based on!

Justin Bieber – Official Images from The View

We showed you video of part of Justin Bieber’s visit to The View and since you know BSCkids is always trying to look out for our readers, we have some official images from the episode that we have direct from ABC (BSC agents and loyalties are everywhere!).  I figure that some would take screencaps from the footage of the appearance, but the video from yesterday while watchable wasn’t really high quality, so these are clear looks of parts of the show featuring Justin both performing and chatting, as well as a couple that look like promo shots.

With all this Justin Bieber fever going on with appearances everywhere (Nightline, MTV, Sirius, & with Katie Couric), don’t forget that it’s all to promote his new album, My World 2.0–out today!

BSCkids readers know all about the song as we’ve been covering everything involving Lovato, Jonas, and yes, even waves.

A couple of days ago we posted the behind-the-scenes “making of” the video for “Make a Wave”, and before that brought you the teaser for the video itself and their performance of the song at Epcot. “Make A Wave” is going to be featured on Disneynature’s upcoming Oceans. (which comes out on April 22nd–Earth Day!)

American Idol Mentor – Miley Cyrus

Mar - 22 2010 | Jay Tomio | no comments |

This week’s American Idol mentor is none other than Miley Cyrus! The hit Fox show is down to their final 11 contestants, and according to EW, kicking off the ‘mentor’ round will be the young pop star. The category that the Idol hopefuls can draw from and perform are songs that have ascended to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Miley will also be performing her song “When I Look At You”, which will be featured on her upcoming film with Liam Hemsworth, The Last Song (March 31st). We’ve previously posted the music video for that song here at BSCkids. Miley is making the rounds promoting the film, as we just moments ago put up the video of her visit to ABC’s The View today.

UPDATE: Check out her performance now!

I actually watch American Idol , and while I think we can all agree that Miley has already achieved a level success that any of the contestants (including the eventual winner) would be hard pressed to ever achieve, I always feel odd when I see a kid critiquing those that are in some cases grown men and women, unless when they (the mentor) are prodigies in that vocation. I mean this as no slight, because I admire the level of her success, but while Miley is certainly a financial and branding prodigy – of that there is no doubt – but it’s not like she’s a young Mike–a musical/singing/performing prodigy. Will definitely be interesting to see. and now that I think about it, half of the population will probably think Cyrus is the absolute representative of what Idol is about.
