Selena Gomez (Dream Out Loud) and Madonna (Material Girl)
Madonna and her 13 year old daughter, Lourdes Leon, will be launching a fashion collection for teens which will be called Material Girl. Not a big surprise on the name if you know Madonna’s work.
Material Girl pieces will range from $12 to $40 and the collection will include shirts, skirts, shoes, jewelry, handbags, and other items. Madonna and daughter partnered with Iconix, a brand which is also works with Bongo, Candie’s and higher-end designers like Badgley Mischka. The collaboration with Iconix may include perfume and other beauty products in the future. Material Girl will be coming to Macy’s stores and online this August, which is a few weeks after Selena Gomez releases her Dream Out Loud Line on July 15th.
Material Girl should be more trendy and Dream Out Loud was described by Selena Gomez as a collection that will have a
“pretty, feminine, and bohemian” feel. ”I want the pieces that can be easy to dress up or down, and the fabrics being eco-friendly and organic are super important,” Selena continues. “Also, the tags will all have some of my inspirational quotes on them. I’m just looking to send a good message.”
It will be interesting to see if the Selena Gomez Dream Out Loud brand is backed by Disney by allowing her to wear some of her clothing on Wizards of Waverly Place. Do you think that Material Girl will cut into the sales of Dream Out Loud? Personally I think that they can both exist but that Selena has a bit more of the demographic already following her which will help her sales.

Because you know…you can’t have the kid on just once, because there aren’t enough TV’s in the world for all of his fans to watch just one airing! Justin Bieber is is taking his world (My World 2.0 if he’s telling it) to the ladies of The View, appearing on the show twice next week. Selena Gomez and Wizards of Waverly Place should be back for Season 4
I am a bit late to the game on this one, but it seems that I did not have to worry for the past 2 days as Wizards of Waverly Place writer, Todd J. Greenwald tweeted this message on the 10th, “Relax everybody. Now you can go back to not doing your homework.
” He also included a link to the picture below. This coming from Selena via her Twitter as well, “P.s. Wizards is not over. We’ll be back
”
So it seems like we will be set for a 4th season, but I still want to see it on the schedule.
This is such good news that I do not even mind finding out a bit late. I was actually real concerned for the fate of the show after hearing about the introduction of Good Luck Charlie. It will be exciting to see where they go with a 4th Season of Wizards of Waverly Place. That being said, remember we are not done with season 3 yet and you can check out the promo pictures of Detention Election which airs on March 19th.

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party – Review (Wii)
The Rabbids are back and they are . . . rabid! It is really hard not to catch their hyperactive-ness while playing this fun game. There are over 60 mini-games in this crazy collection, which features bizarre creatures that look like zombie bunnies and make strange noises. Four players can compete at dance contests, snowboarding, burger-flipping, space surfing – and so much more. Players are sure to find a game they like and can play well, or at least have fun trying. Some of the games are pretty difficult, like space surfing, but are still exciting, even when the other players are allowed to get in on the action and cause trouble as you try to avoid obstacles. My daughter loves to wreck me when and if she can, and since I’m pretty terrible at it in the first place, it turns into a big, fun mess that I am happy just to finish.
We laugh a lot when we play Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, especially the burger-flipping game, which involves cooking the burgers and flipping them into Zeke’s mouth. I am pretty sure Zeke is a walrus, but someone else might know better; whatever he is, he’s big and he’s hungry. Another game that is fun but not easy is BRUSH, which involves brushing your Rabbid’s teeth and cleaning his ears, which is not as easy as it sounds. I keep shaving his face when I should be sticking a Q-Tip in his ear. You can even use your Wii Balance Board if you feel adventurous and want to surf or snowboard with your feet or your rear end. These games are pretty fast and before you know it, you’re finished, so you need to be quick and have a good sense of humor to keep things moving and upbeat. It’s not hard to stay in a good mood while playing Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, even if you lose.
This is rated for ages 10 and up, probably because the Rabbids are always hitting each other, kicking each other’s butts, and are generally pretty rough and rude. This wasn’t shocking to my ten year old daughter, who has an older brother and has not only seen him play some teen rated games, but has listened to more than her share of the bodily function noises that the Rabbids, and many teenage boys, like to display.
Good Luck Charlie – Study Date – Promo Photos
If all goes according to plan Good Luck Charlie may be be the new show for me on the Disney Channel since Season 4 of Wizards of Waverly Place is up in the air. Even if Wizards comes back I think I am really going to enjoy this show. It focuses on what happens with a new baby is introduced into a house full of kids and they become the new babysitters (after school and weekends) as their mother and father both continue working.
I loved Bridgit Mendler as Juliet on Wizards of Waverly Place and think she is a great pick to start a new Disney show. Also the story hits home as we will be introducing a new baby into our household and we will both continue to work.
We previously gave you a look at the trailer and you can watch the premiere of Good Luck Charlie Sunday April 4th at 8:30 p.m. ET. Check out the promo photos from the episode below.

Shrek Forever After trailer from Dreamworks!

Back in November we pointed you to some promo images from Shrek Forever After, the fourth film from the franchise; a month after we got a teaser trailer and poster, but now we have the full trailer for the film coming out this Summer! Plus, Shrek 4 is in 3-D and is possibly our last adventure with the gang! Earlier this month, we learned that Forever After will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival (April 21st-May 2nd).
Shrek Forever After‘s wide release hits theaters on May 21st and returns all of our favorites in Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz as Shrek & Fiona, Murphy as lovable Donkey, while adding to the voice cast with Kathy Griffin, Kristin Schaal and Jon Hamm!
What’s Shrek 4 About?
After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws’ kingdom, what’s an ogre to do? Well, if you’re Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. What’s happened to this ogre’s roar?
Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.
