G.I. Joe Adventure Team Set – Ready to Order!

A few days ago we talked about the G.I. Joe Clubs’ 3 3/4 Adventure Team set (and I expanded on at VI), which threatens to be the first 25th style mold that tempts me. You just can’t go wrong with Dr. Venom and Joe Colton–and they can now be pre-ordered from the club!

A couple days prior we posted the card art for the figures/sets, and now we have what is being called a carded “sample” (so please note that it could change) of the Land Adventurer. I’ve been very impressed with the art and style of these, much more so than I have been with the Joes you can currently buy in stores. You may ask yourself why the packaging even matters, but to Joe fans from the ’80s, the file cards and card art – I think – were extremely important and even served to expand the experience and world-building of the G.I. Joe mythos.
