Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D release date
The live-action/CGI Alvin and the Chipmunks movies have really made a pile of acorns at the box office so it comes as no surprise that a third film in the series is in production. The fact that is will be in 3D is just following of the trend these days. What I will say though is that while I might scoff at some other movies in 3D, for this film it makes perfect sense. These sort of films are meant to be fun and as long as they keep the effects subtle it should enhance the experience. We have to remember these films are family entertainment.
Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D will hit the theaters on December 16th, 2011 if all goes as planned. Just in time for the holiday season. So while we could assume a third movie would happen and why wouldn’t it be in 3D, now we have the release date which is the information that most people would have had trouble guessing. Dare we say a 4th one will be on the horizon after this one makes a ton of money as well?

As long as Ross & Janice are overseeing the film production. It will be safe to say: another movie is to follow!
The story could deal with the Chipmunks being parted from the Chipettes. This is due to low grades. The girls are a distraction.
Hiring a foster mom- Miss Miller. Getting the courage to ask the girls out to the Prom.Alvin and Brittany making up after a miss-understanding; and sharing of their first kiss.
