True Jackson, VP is one of those shows that I do not follow, but I wanted to pass along the news in this Nickelodeon press release.  Vivica Fox, John Cena, and Willow Smith will star in a new episode of the show on April 3rd.  Vivica will play True’s mother and Willow Smith will be playing the role of young True.  A cameo appearance will be made by the WWE superstar John Cena in this episode as well. 

This episode of True Jackson VP is titled “Pajama Party” and involves Amanda crashing True’s slumber party which turns it into a battle of wills.  Ryan and Jimmy will preview John Cena’s new movie and then get to meet their hero Cena in person.  So tell me, what am I missing by not watching this show?

SANTA MONICA, CALIF. – March 30, 2010 – It’s a fun-filled all-nighter for True, Lulu, Ryan and Jimmy as Nickelodeon premieres a brand-new, special episode of True Jackson, VP on Saturday, April 3 at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), as part of the network’s “Up All Night” special theme night kicking off at 8:00 p.m. with an encore episode of iCarly “iWant a World Record.” True Jackson, VP’s “Pajama Party” features guest stars Vivica A. Fox as True’s mother, Willow Smith, reprising her role as young True and a cameo appearance by WWE superstar John Cena.

In “Pajama Party,” Amanda (Danielle Bisutti) crashes True’s (Keke Palmer) slumber party, where their competitive sides turn a night of game-playing and secret-sharing into a battle of wills. Vivica A. Fox and Willow Smith make special appearances, playing True’s mother and young True, respectively. Meanwhile, Ryan (Matt Shively) and Jimmy’s (Robbie Amell) preview screening of John Cena’s new action movie turns into an all-night adventure when their hero Cena surprises the audience by showing up, giving Ryan and Jimmy the thrill of their lives when he brings them to the set of his next movie and later, to a celebrity hockey game.

iCarly and True Jackson, VP rank among the top-rated programs with kids 2-11 and tweens 9-14. iCarly is the top live-action series year to date with kids 2-11 and was basic cable’s top tween 9-14 program in February. True Jackson, VP is the number-two program on Saturday nights on all of broadcast and basic cable television with kids 2-11 and tweens 9-14 (Source: NMR, Live + 7 Day data thru 2/28/10, Live + Same Day data through 3/14/10).

True Jackson, VP follows True as she navigates work life, social life and love life adventures around the Mad Style offices with her best friends Lulu and Ryan. True navigates her very first job, battles real-world obstacles like competitive co-workers and corporate politics and builds new friendships, romantic interests – as well as her niche as a fashion maven. Nickelodeon star Keke Palmer recently garnered her third NAACP Image Award; this year for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s Program for her starring role on True Jackson, VP.

Dolly Parton, who is the godmother of Miley Cyrus in real life, will once again play the role of Aunt Dolly on the Disney Channel Hannah Montana series.  The two previous episodes “Good Golly, Miss Dolly” in 2006 and “I Will Always Loathe You” in 2007 were pretty cool and I am glad they decided to bring her back for the final season.  I have always been a Dolly Parton fan, she has a great personality and her acting is pure fun.

While there is not air date set for the episode just yet, it will be great to see Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton again on Hannah Montana.  I think the way they work together on the show is great for the viewers.

I also want to point out that Dollywood is an awesome theme park and I suggest anyone that has not visited check it out.  You can also find some information on the special Hannah Montana episode where they tape with Military Families.

We have to start keeping tabs with all the Toy Story 3 new characters revealed, we have shown you Sparks, Stretch,  Twitch, Buttercup, Mr. Pricklepants, Trixie, Lotso. Does anyone else remember having a Chatter Telephone when they were little?  I still think I have mine in my parents attic!  Another one of the reasons that Toy Story 3 and Pixar films in general appeal to both the children and adults.  Chunk also look really cool, I hope he is one of those gentle giant types.  With only two more characters to be revealed do you already have a favorite?

 There was rumor going around that Justin Bieber would be performing on American Idol this week, but tvguide.com has squashed that.  I guess people were thinking since his mentor, Usher and friend Diddy are appearing this week it just made sense.  Diddy and his band Dirty Money will perform Hello, Good Morning while Usher will perform his new single OMG.

There is good news though, it seems that Justin Bieber will tape a performance that will air later in the season.  While we all hope that he sings Baby when he does American Idol, if he does not you can check him out doing the number at the Kids Choice Awards.

Remember that just recently Miley Cyrus was the American Idol mentor and you can check out her performance on the show.

WWD is reporting that Kmart will be debuting Selena Gomez’s Dream Out Loud fashion line at Kmart on July 15th.  While I was at first a little shocked to hear Kmart I think makes great sense from a distribution and economic standpoint.  I wonder if this means that Sears may also be able to carry the line as well?

Remember we told you about Dream Out Loud when it was announced and then also reported on the fact that Selena will be competing a bit with Madonna and her daughter’s line Material Girl which will be at Macy’s. 

So who wins this battle of the teen fashion?  Selena Gomez with Kmart or Lourdes Leon and Madonna with Macy’s?  Should be interesting but I think with the economy and Selena’s star power I go with Dream Out Loud at Kmart.

Today was the day that the Selena Gomez wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Washington DC today.  Selena’s figure will be in the Glamour room and she will be hanging around with the Jonas Brothers among other celebrities.  I love the fact that she donated a black BCBG dress and shoes of her own for the wax figure to keep the clothing authentic but she should have tried and gotten some Dream Out Loud clothing for the figure.

The Madame Tussauds site has some pictures of Selena next to her wax figure and they look great together.  Who wouldn’t be happy with a double dose of Selena Gomez?  Remember that Shakira will be on Wizards of Waverly Place with Selena April 16th on the Disney Channel.  You can check out some choice pictures of her wax figure below

As the blooming Cherry Blossoms help usher in spring in the D.C.-area, the wax figure of blossoming actress, singer and teen sensation Selena Gomez will make its debut in the nation’s capital at Madame Tussauds D.C. on Tuesday, March 30 at 10:00 am, at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C., 1001 F Street, NW (at 10th Street).

Gomez’s wax figure will be part of the attraction’s “Glamour” room, where it will stand alongside figures of Madonna, the Jonas Brothers, Penelope Cruz, Beyonce and a variety of today’s biggest celebrities. Visitors will be able to take pictures with and even hug her figure.

A young woman of many talents, Gomez is an actress and singer, and the star of the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel Original Series, “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Off the screen and outside of the studio, Gomez has spent significant time on her philanthropic endeavors. She was involved in the UR Votes Count campaign, which helped encourage teenagers learn more about their 2008 Presidential candidates. She was also a spokesperson for UNICEF’s 2008 Trick-or-Treat campaign.

Take a good thing, Betty Crocker brownie mix, and add another good thing, Hershey’s chocolate syrup and you end up with Betty Crocker Hershey’s Original Supreme Brownie Mix.  So did we make just regular brownies?  No we tried the Betty Crocker Brownie Good bars on the back of the box. 

Let me tell you these were the most awesome decadent brownie type bars I have ever had.  Let me put it this way, they have crisp rice cereal, peanut butter and Betty Croker Whipped Vanilla Frosting among other ingredients.  They were deliscious and my boys had a fun time helping me make them.  The brownie portion of the bars, which is the mix in question was just the perfect level of chocolate and baked up nice and thick.  None of those thin brownies here, but at the same time just because they are thicker they do not turn at all cake like either, they are still brownies. 

The next day we made another box of just the brownies not the bars just to give ourselves a true taste of the mix.  Once again they were some of the best box brownies I have tasted.  The Hershey’s packet makes a noticeable difference in comparison to regular brownie mix.  Hershey’s chocolate is some of my favorite and we have been travelling to Hershey PA each and every year with the family so I consider myself a true Hershey fan.  Again we have been asked again and again for the Brownie Goody Bars recipe so make sure you are prepared for all the smiling faces you will be making.

Studios gives us Mickey Mouse and dragons, what could be better than that?  Written by Stefano Ambrosio and drawn by Vitale Mangiatordi and Lorenzo Pastrovicchio we get the next issue of Wizards of Mickey.  Cover A was done by Lorenzo Pastrovicchio and Cover B was done by Magic Eye Studios.  Issue 3 has Mickey finding eggs, just in time for Easter.

What is the comic about?
