It’s official, I’m tired of award season and as much as I love Pixar, I can’t talk about their winning anymore! Back in December we told you that Pixar’s Up was among the many fine nominees (Neil Gaiman’s Coraline and Up led the way with 9 nominations, with Disney’s The Little Princess just behind with 8). Well, last week (February 6th) the winners were named and Up took home top honors at the 7th Annual Annie Awards, taking home the Best Animated Feature trophy as well as the award recognizing Best Direction. The Princess and the Frog and Coraline, however, nabbed 3 awards a piece
What’s awesome is that Prep and Landing won three awards: Best Animated Television Production, Character Design and Production Design. BSCkids interviewed Derek Richardson from Prep and Landing last year!
