Andy Daly is Yogi Bear’s Mayor Brown

At the beginning of the month we told you that Tom Cavanagh would be playing Ranger Smith in the upcoming Yogi Bear movie, and now we have our Mayor as Variety reports that Andy Daly is joining the Warner Bros. live-action/CGI adaptation of the classic cartoon set in Jellystone Park.

The report says that Mayor Brown “uses the city budget for his personal fun, drives the city into bankruptcy and comes up with the idea of selling Jelly Stone Park to fix his mess.” I have to admit that I’m don’t remember Brown at all–maybe original to the film, I’m losing my memory with age, or an obscure character?

Andy Daly is a comedian who has been in films like Christmas with the Kranks and Semi-Pro. Along with Daly and the already mentioned Cavanagh, Yogi Bear will also star Anna Farris, Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake.
