ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas – Day 8

Day 8 has come and we get my favorite Disney holiday show on tonight, as Mickey’s Christmas Carol is being shown at 7 PM.  I am a huge Scrooge McDuck fan from the Duck Tales show, and he gives us something enjoyable in his portrayal of Ebenezer Scrooge.  Mickey and Minnie Mouse also do a good job with Mr. and Mrs Cratchit, and Jiminy Cricket will forever hold the role of the Ghost of Christmas Past for me. 

(7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT) MICKEY’S CHRISTMAS CAROL

A Disney version of the classic Dickens’ tale finds Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit and Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge. The animated special’s cast of characters also includes Minnie Mouse as Mrs. Cratchit, Goofy as Jacob Marley, Donald Duck as nephew Fred, and Jiminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past. (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) WINNIE THE POOH AND CHRISTMAS TOO

In this Christmas classic, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet rush to get Christopher Robin’s letter to Santa before it’s too late. With many obstacles before them, they learn the true meaning of Christmas. (Animated)

It is also worth noting that A MISER BROTHERS’ CHRISTMAS is on at 9 PM, I reviewed this last year for BSCreview, but I can sum it up with not being impressed.  Winnie the Pooh always makes a good showing and his gang along with Christopher Robin do a good job teaching the kids the true meaning of the holiday.  Quality night for Christmas Special viewing.
